When people think of art, the probably first think of a painter. Van Gogh or Michelangelo may come to mind. When I first think of art, for myself, I think of the way that light will catch the profile of someone’s face as they walk from shadow to sunlight. I think of a beautiful dress blowing in the wind while a bride is held lovingly by her brand new life partner. But art is literally everywhere. In the books I read, in the TV shows/movies I watch and in the Broadway Shows I have had the privilege to see. I recently fell in love with broadway and if you have ever to a show, you know how captivating it is to watch.
Have you ever thought about the how much art must flow through each cast member? Everyone involved in the show has to be on their game mentally and physically day after day, sometimes twice. These people are incredible. They are singers, dancers, musicians, actors and athletes. They are real stars. I am still pinching myself that I had the immense privilege of photographing two of them in Orlando recently. You will have to stay tuned for Alberts photos on our blog but I am so excited to share some of the images I took of Celina Nightengale with the National Tour Company of Disney’s Aladdin: The Musical.
The shoot at Universal Studios
We had so much fun shooting!!! Celina just lights up the camera. She’s playful, beautiful and just a dream to shoot! I could go on and on about how amazing she is, but I’ll let you check out a little of what we created and see for yourself. Celina, thank you so much for letting me create my art with you. You are such a master at your craft and I definitely hope we get to shoot again! I also can’t wait to see your star shine on stage again!
