6 Best Wedding Venues in Saint Augustine Florida
We recently told you about the 14 Best Wedding Venues in Jacksonville but we thought Saint Augustine Wedding Venues deserved their own blog! The eclectic and charming city of Saint Augustine, FL. is a sensational spot to declare your love and tie the knot.
Thanks to the cities’ Spanish and British history, remnants of the past cultures linger in its streets and architecture, meaning the choices of spots to marry are incredibly unique. I am particularly partial to this historical city as its reminiscent of where I grew up in Italy.
Below you will find our six best wedding venues in Saint Augustine, Florida, to say “I DO”!
The Venues
The Treasury on the Plaza is a historically listed building located just a stone’s throw from the famous Bridge of Lions in downtown St Augustine. Once upon a time, an exchange bank, the Treasury now hosts special and exclusive weddings and parties.
Enter via the Grand Foyer, where you will find yourself beneath hand-painted ceilings and the foyer balcony (perfect picture spot). With its stone and brass features and glossy art deco tiled floors, your guests will love the warm and welcoming feel.
Moving on to the simple yet impressive Grand Ballroom, which you can keep minimalist or dress to any look you love. You’ll adore (or j’adore – HA!) the original 1927 bank vault at the end of the ballroom, now a very cool, speakeasy-style bar.
For your special day, you’ll have full access to this splendid and unique Saint Augustine wedding venue, including the bridal suite, a relaxed and luxurious oriental themed room with creamy colored sofas, makeup stations, and floor to ceiling mirrors.
The groomsmen can don tuxedoes in the Banker’s Lounge, all brown leather couches, wood-paneled walls, and buffed floors. There are even a poker table and a flat-screen tv to keep them entertained!

The White Room is a female-owned and eco-friendly wedding and events company. The grand old building sits right on the edge of downtown St Augustine’s and once housed an iconic department store, a hotel, and even a wax museum!
This noble building encompasses three waterfront venues to choose from, the Grand Ballroom, the White Room Loft and Rooftop, and the Villa Blanca. Each venue offers its own unique and enchanting indoor and outdoor experience.
The Loft has warm hospitality owing to the original 1888 exposed brick walls and is ideal for small, intimate ceremonies.
The Grand Ballroom is a wonder of chandeliers and mood lighting, with oodles of charm.
The Villa Blanca offers a whimsical, old country chapel vibe. The dark floorboards contrasts elegantly to the arched cream panel inner roof and white truss structural beams.

The Lightner Museum in St Augustine is a building steeped in history. It was initially the Hotel Alcaraz, (nicknamed “the castle of happy returns”) and was well known for housing a popular large indoor pool. This venue offers two separate and unique spaces to say, “I do.”
Be it at the very base of the famed pool floor where you will find streetlamps and delicately painted interior panels. Looking down on the pool is a spacious second-floor mezzanine terrace, where guests can gather to watch your first dance while sipping on cocktails!
Alternatively, for an intimate wedding service, choose the mosaic-tiled outdoor terrace. This drop-dead gorgeous setting is all white-washed stone walls and intricate, detailed Mediterranean architecture that is the building’s exterior.
There are many fantastic photo opportunities at the Lightner Museum, such as the old stone bridge sitting across a koi pond water feature in the central landscaped gardens. In the evening, the twinkling perfection of fairy lights wrapped around the outdoor palm trunks makes for a one of a kind atmosphere.

For a large scale wedding, the Casa Monica Ballroom, with its distinct Morrocan style chandeliers and gold accents, can house 250 of your nearest and dearest. If your party is on the smaller side, you will love the Flagler ballroom with its red faux columns and Marrakesh patterned carpet.

The barn interior is a pure and uncomplicated canvas for you to decorate; however, you please: the only limits being your imagination!
Included in your day are homestead style tables and chairs, whiskey barrels, and garlands of string lighting. The venue is air-conditioned, easy to find, and has plenty of parking. There is also a shabby chic style bride quarters.
Outside the barn is a lovely, peaceful garden with a winding footpath, an earthy pond, tall trees, and lush greenery. The sentiment is one of a secret, private space.
