Allison’s homage to Trey:
Song of Solomon 1:1
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine.
Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes;
your name is like perfume poured out.
No wonder the young women love you!
Take me away with you—let us hurry!
I adore your planned spontaneity and adventurous spirit:
Vicksburg, Vail, Beavercreek, Aspen, Mont Eagle, Oxford, Ormond, Turks & Caicos, Dallas, Meridian, NOLA and all things Jackson. . .
You have shown me places and things that I have never known:
Ole Miss, the Grove, sand puppies, real sand dollars, snorkeling in open water, sharks, Middendorf’s, red fishing, eating the red fish, grouper, fine dining, ice skating in the deep South, snow skiing, gambling, hotels…
You have shown me the value of love and trust and to keep our intimacy sacred.
I adore the simplicity of just being in your presence.
